GLENVIEW, IL (July 22, 2009) - Restaurants and Institutions revealed their 45th annual picks for the top 400 chain-restaurant brands today. Bar Louie, which placed at number 236 in 2008, jumped up to spot 227 above Roy’s, Portillo’s, and Mrs. Fields.

CHICAGO, IL (June 17, 2009) - This winter, Roger Greenfield (Bar Louie, One North) plans to open Primebar, a 220-seat American spot at 155 North Wacker Drive. "I'm on my way to the airport right now to do a grand opening in Denver for the first one," says Greenfield. "Chicago is second."

Bar Louie Concept to Expand
GLENVIEW, IL (March 26, 2009) -
Bar Louie Development Inc., operator or franchisor of the namesake restaurant and bar concept, said it expects to open five more franchised units this year. The new stores will be located in Michigan, Indiana and eastern Pennsylvania.
