Chicago & Suburban Restaurants Offer Exciting New Year's Eve Packages

CHICAGO (December 2, 2005) - Restaurants America makes New Year's Eve plans simple, fun and delicious. Choose from packages at Bar Louie, Extra Virgin, One North Kitchen & Bar or The Grillroom. New Year's Eve is on Saturday, December 31st, 2005; for more information or to make reservations, call restaurants directly.

Extra Virgin, 741 W. Randolph, 312.474.0700. Chef Nick Van Wassenhove creates an exquisite five course prix fixe menu with wine pairings for your New Year's Eve celebration. Courses include Pan Roasted Rock Lobster infused with fresh vanilla bean and Ricotta-encrusted NY Strip served with spicy tomato & asiago risotto. Cost is $85.00 per person, not including tax and gratuity. Daily menu also available. Reservations are required and are available at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Live entertainment begins during the 8 p.m. seating; the 10 p.m. seating includes complimentary party favors and Champagne toast at midnight. 

Guests who have dinner at Extra Virgin can also purchase a pass to the XV Lounge After Party, located right around the corner, for an additional $30 per person. The XV Lounge After Party pass includes open bar from 8 to 12-Midnight, appetizer buffet, D.J., party favors and Champagne toast at midnight. Cost for the After Party without dinner is $75 per person.

The Grillroom, 33 W. Monroe, 312.960.0000. If you've got tickets for Wicked at the Oriental Theatre, look no further than The Grillroom for your pre or post-theatre dining reservations! Featuring a tempting five-course prix-fixe menu with wine pairings, party favors and Champagne toast at midnight. Cost is $140 per couple, not including tax and gratuity. Daily menu is also available. Seating is open but reservations recommended; last reservation is at 10 p.m.

Start your evening out at this popular downtown dining destination, where Chef Grant Slauterbeck designs an incredible all-you-can-eat buffet with over 20 items.
